A bit about me...
My experience in fitness, health promotion, weight management and education stems over 14 years. My love of fitness started many years before as a professional dancer before moving towards fitness. My love of teaching quickly lead me into adult education and finally to specialise in pregnancy & postnatal fitness during my own first pregnancy in 2011.
Following my second (twin eek!) pregnancy in 2013 I realised that there was very little out there for us new mums to help us safely restore fitness and enable the safe return to mainstream fitness classes. So I bravely resigned from my job and proudly launched MisFit Mamas! I have specialist knowledge in pregnancy and postnatal fitness gained through ongoing training, including repairing abdominal separation (Diastasis Recti). My latest endevour was to become trained in baby yoga to involve babies a little into the classes. Happy baby...happy mum!
My most recent career development wa in becoming a Holistic Core Restore® Coach joining a team of almost one hundred coaches throughout the UK and Internationally. This amazing a deep education is aimed at supporting women of all ages in their Pelvic Health journey which I am passionate about following my own pelvic health issues.
I now educate mums-to-be and new mums on how best to maintain fitness during pregnancy and re-train your new post-birth body following birth. It is my passion to share my knowledge and to help you make the most of your pregnancy, prepare for birth and re-connect with your body post birth to restore fitness safely, provide a platform for new friendships and feel a little like you again.
